Send us a short video answering one question: why should a high school student enter the Blue Ocean Competition?
Your answer, in your own words. Say it the way you’d say it to a classmate who asked you at lunch and has never heard of the Blue Ocean Competition. Something specific and true will do far more than something polished.
Competed before? Tell that story instead. What you pitched, why you entered, what you’d say to the version of yourself who hadn’t signed up yet.
Introduce yourself somewhere along the way, wherever it falls naturally.
We’ll share the strongest videos across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok through the season, with your name and school in the caption. Each video you submit earns you 25 Ambassador Points.
Before you film
- Thirty to sixty seconds, filmed on your phone, held vertically like a reel
- Prop your phone against something so it stays still
- Somewhere with light on your face and not much noise behind you
- Leave off music, captions and filters. We add those, and clean footage is much easier for us to work with.
- One take is fine. Slightly rough and genuine performs better than polished.
- Filming with a friend, another ambassador or your whole club is welcome
